ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Brendan. I have over ten year’s experience in the professional music scene, from attending BIMM in Bristol, to playing in house and function bands across the South West and UK. I first picked up a guitar when I was six and haven’t been able to put them down since.

Being an avid music fan, my passion is to ignite the love for guitar in others. Whether you are just beginning, or working towards specific music grades then I would be honoured to help you on your journey. Aside from my personal interest in music, I have a wealth of experience and education, including:

  • BA(hons) in Music Performance from The British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) in Bristol

  • 2 years as the Lead Guitarist in house bands with P&O

  • Over 10 years experience in various bands across the country- playing weddings, parties and other functions

  • Performances at The Fleece in Bristol

  • Neurodiversity training

  • Enhanced DBS check

Who are your top bands/musicians?

This is a difficult question for me, but I think if I had to choose my top three it would be Alter Bridge, Lawrence and AC/DC (specifically 80s AC/DC when they were at their peak!)

Where is the favourite place you’ve ever played?

There was a specific night on one of my P&O contracts where we playing at a darts night. The energy in the room was super fun, and we were just in our own little floating music bubble in the middle of the North Sea!

What is your favourite guitar you’ve ever owned or played?

Definitely the Telecaster, without a doubt.
